Farmers' Market 2026

The City of Locust Farmers' Market will operate May-September, on Tuesdays from 4:30-7:30 PM and Thursdays from 9:00 am-1:00 pm, weather permitting. Vendors are not required to attend both days, but the more vendor variety we can offer, the more appealing the Farmers' Market will be for the community. Please share the word with your friends who have produce to sell!

PLEASE NOTE LOCATION CHANGE FOR 2026! For multiple reasons, the decision was made to move the Farmers' Market to Locust Town Center, in the open grass space behind The Brew Room. We think this will be an excellent move and will increase attendance and interest! Vendors are accepted as follows: vendors from the previous year are given precedence, then all other vendors are considered.

Vendors must pay an application fee of $10 in order for their application to be processed. This can be paid by cash or check at City Hall, or via credit card. If you prefer to pay via credit card, please email jhoneycutt@locustnc.gov or call Jessica Honeycutt at 704-888-5260 and an invoice will be sent to you via email that can be paid online. The charge for participation is a $5/week fee. This fee will be collected by a City of Locust employee each Thursday that you participate. If preferred, vendors can pay for the whole season at once, for $110 ($5/week for 22 weeks).

Please note that submitting this application does not guarantee you a spot. Vendors will be notified via email once they are accepted. Vendors are not allowed to set up unless they have received email confirmation from the City of Locust that they are an approved vendor. Vendors will not be approved until all required documentation has been provided, including appropriate inspections required, depending on the type of product being sold.
